My Windows installation is day old, so it would be stupid to reinstall and I know it won't fix the issue.
The config file had "RenderWorkerCount = 9" and I changed it to 10, and back. No positive results what so ever. I have 10 cores. I will check the Windows version but I think it's newer than 1809.
Edit: I had i7 4770K and the new i9 10850K basically has same FPS...?

This is due to the constraints of the GPU.

GPU. My 1080Ti has issues with Warzone; around 70 FPS at 1440, so an 1060 likely caps at about 100 FPS even with lower settings. Regardless of CPU speed or graphics intensity, the GPU's frame rendering remains the main bottleneck. The 1060 is a decent GPU, but it wasn't built to consistently hit over 100 FPS in most recent games.

When high settings are enabled, perhaps the issue lies with the lowest settings. I've noticed several discussions recently about performance problems in Warzone. It seems an update might be affecting certain systems. If other titles are functioning well, it's likely a game-specific issue.

This is precisely what I intended. All configurations are set to the minimum, and only 50% VRAM is being utilized. If the GPU is the problem, increasing its settings to maximum should help...

Edit: I'll check if the issue is related to Windows or NVIDIA drivers (rolling back some older versions).

Through testing and optimization, I was able to increase the GPU core speed by 100 MHz and memory by 200 MHz, which helped somewhat. However, there are still problems, such as a sudden drop in FPS when dropping an ammo box—FPS plummets to around 60 for a few seconds after the animation ends, then returns to normal. The same issue occurs with breakable windows, which is unusual. Certain game elements cause a significant drop in FPS for a few seconds. Anyone know the reason or how to fix it?

It doesn't seem like developers are working on it right now. Since Warzone has problems, your bad system might be the issue—check community forums for advice to boost performance.

I don't believe they'll resolve performance problems soon. Each update seems to worsen the situation. I recall playing the first season on PS4—it ran smoothly and was fun without any lag. Now it's just slow, low frame rates, and poor gameplay with that system. Something has definitely gone wrong.

The integration with Black Ops has led to more issues than it's worth, really. Along with all the hackers, I've essentially stopped playing Warzone.

It was about correct, the most significant issues began after this occurred. Additionally, the revised map introduced complications relative to the previous version.
