My Bud experiences frequent crashes to desktop in Warzone. He either freezes within 10-20 seconds when loading the menu or takes 5-10 minutes after starting a match. I checked his PC yesterday and tried all standard troubleshooting steps—except CPU temperature monitoring. His build features a Ryzen 7 3700X with an RTX 2060 Super. I updated firmware, reinstalled graphics drivers, ran a fresh install of the game and shaders, performed a scan fix, and tested everything. The Task Manager doesn’t display RAM speed, and his BIOS RAM profile was reset from 3200 MHz XMP to the default 2166 MHz, which I adjusted. This didn’t resolve the issue in the Task Manager or while playing.

My concerns are: Could the lack of visible RAM speed in the Task Manager be linked to the crashes? Is it possible that the Game freezes without showing any error messages? Are there dedicated monitoring tools similar to XTU for Ryzen systems, or would an Asus TUF X570 Plus motherboard with CPU temperature tracking work better? If not, what’s the next best approach for keeping an eye on system temperatures and related events?
