In the tutorial I follow for Cod Warzone, I experience no lag at all, but during battle royale matches the performance drops significantly, making it unplayable. This issue seems specific to this game and not other titles. I’m planning to reinstall just in case there’s a corrupt file problem, and I’ll update this later. My system specs are an i5-8500h processor with an Nvidia 1050ti, 8GB RAM, and a 1TB hard drive.

Check if you're connecting via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and if your network drivers are up to date.

HDD and 8gb ram for a AAA title online = your experience. You have a low end GPU, meh CPU, a spinning drive and not enough ram. Couple that with now having to wait for data online, that has to be then communicated from the slow HDD when it shows up on your screen (or doesn't cause you are lagging), to the ram which is likely completely used up (meaning Windows has to then dump SOMETHING to make room for it). This title uses all 16 threads, and up to 10gb of RAM for me, and 4gb of VRAM as well. EDIT - what I mean it - its a VERY well optimized game from my standpoint.

R7 1700 and R9 Fury are top-tier desktops that mobile versions can't match (your CPU and GPU count). I haven’t played in a week or so—usually I’m hitting 60-80 FPS all the time, especially during online gaming at full settings. The game runs incredibly smoothly for me.

You require significantly more memory for Warzone—ideally 12GB minimum, and 16GB would be ideal for handling additional tasks alongside the game.
