Warzone GPU performance at 20ms is low, often resulting in reduced frame rates.
I've observed an unusual behavior in my game. On medium settings, I usually hit about 150-200fps with CPU and GPU usage near 5-6ms. Other games run slower—around 60-70fps—and my system responds in roughly 20ms. Restarting helps temporarily. Anyone else notice this pattern? My setup includes an i9 9900k, RX 3070, Kraken x42, 16GB RAM, and temps around 60°C.
warzone isn't especially optimized, and with so many updates since its release, its graphics have suffered. It feels like each version needs constant tweaks, but most players stick to low settings or off-the-rails builds. Turning on ray tracing actually boosts frame rates.
It seems my configurations and fine-tuning are working perfectly now, but this has started unexpectedly. I’m aware it’s inefficient, especially with the GPU and CPU usage increasing. What causes such a spike?
Verify your RAM speed in BIOS after a recent reset. I noticed it sometimes works with Cod, but this has happened five times while playing a lot of Cod. Taking breaks from play can help, as frequent updates may strain the system. Also, ensure all graphics settings match the game and Windows, along with NVIDIA compatibility.
Could you help locate the issue? It seems like no one understands what’s happening, and this is really frustrating. My system has the same problem too—3070 with a Ryzen 5 5600X and 16 GB RAM.
I've faced the same problem on three GPUs using two different PSUs. I've tried adjusting every possible setting and even checked online forums, but nothing worked. Friends and streamers with similar setups don't experience this issue—they can play for long stretches without drops. My system runs a Ryzen 7 3800X with an MSI X570, a GTX 3070 RTX, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Corsair Gold, and a 850W PSU. Despite these specs, I'm seeing instability that varies in severity each time I play.
It's quite bothersome. I've observed that all four of us are running on RTX 3070 graphics cards. It could be connected to this GPU. So far, the only solution has been restarting the game. I suspect the issue stems from memory not clearing properly and overloading the GPU. My setup includes a Ryzen 5900X, an Asus ROG Strix 3070 OC with 32 GB RAM, a Gygabite Aorus B550 PRO V2 power supply, and an 850W PSU.
Have you discovered a solution? I’m exhausted from either resetting the game or settling for reduced performance, making it feel like a PS2 experience.
You're experiencing the same issue with your 3070, and it seems to persist even after a restart. The performance drops significantly during gameplay, especially in warzone mode, though it occurs less frequently in multiplayer. CPU and GPU usage both rise, which is unusual for this hardware.
Hello Guys. I have a 2070 Super experiencing performance drops. FPS decreases and CPU/GPU metrics exceed 10ms. It seems like a game issue, but I found a solution. Please note that Nvidia DLSS needs to be turned off for this to function. You can re-enable it later. In telemetry, adjust Render Resolution to 200, wait until CPU time drops to around 8-7ms, then set it to 50, wait for GPU time to reach similar values, revert to 100, and if applicable, turn on DLSS again. This usually resolves the problem. If not, restarting the game might help. It works for me.
