Maybe someone can assist you. I understand a few problems with your PC but perhaps I overlooked something. Your system details are clear:
I7 8700k
Gigabyte Aorus 3080
32MB RAM (current speed 2666)
Monitor: Acer Nitro Ultrawide 3440x1440 MB
ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 LGA 1151
Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 1 TB NVME M.2

I’m trying to determine the expected FPS for Warzone. I see videos on YouTube showing around 140-160 FPS, but that seems tough for me to reach. I’ve adjusted various settings without much improvement and sometimes drop below 100 FPS depending on the area. Could it be a CPU bottleneck? Is the memory performance affecting things too? I haven’t over-clocked anything and keep the temperature around 78°C during heavy use.

well 9900K is 8C 16T and performs better clock-wise. Not every identical spec guarantees the same fps, so the main fix here is to upgrade to a Z370/Z390 motherboard or get a more powerful setup like 5600G, 10600K/KF, 11600K/KF, or 12600K/KF paired with a fast RAM.

It's not always the same bottleneck, sometimes CPU architecture and OS optimizations differ. You're limited mainly by that B365 motherboard, but with a z370 or z390 motherboard, you could upgrade the CPU and RAM for better speed, achieving more performance while keeping the same game settings.

Sure, the MB is definitely my area of concern. It seems it would need something similar. I struggle to get more frames and feel like I should be higher. The videos I watch show people running a 3080 or 2080ti with an I9 9900k CPU.
