I transferred my Ryzen 9 5900X and ROG Crosshair VIII Hero X570 to a new owner. Unfortunately, I lost the original packaging and proof of purchase. The buyer has the chip’s serial and production numbers, which should help. If issues arise with the component, will the SN and PN be sufficient for vendors in Taiwan? Policies can vary by country.

These problems aren’t covered by any warranty either. Therefore, these worries are very unlikely to happen 99.999999999999999999999% of the time.
