I needed to file a return and replacement request for my R7 3700X CPU, and I received a new one from AMD Center. I’m wondering if the CPU I just replaced is still covered under warranty. I don’t have any details or a place to look up the warranty info, so I really appreciate your help.
Typically, businesses will maintain the warranty for your initial chip.
I've never come across a business that changes the warranty duration after service. Imagine you have a 36-month warranty, your CPU fails after 10 months, and you get a replacement. The new CPU would then have 26 months of coverage.
