I recently assembled my first computer. It’s running Aorus B850 Elite WiFi MB, a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, an RX 9070 XT, 32GB of G.Skill RAM, and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB memory card.
I’ve experienced frequent random freezes that forced me to press the power button and shut down. These have happened while gaming, browsing the web, watching YouTube, downloading updates, or transferring files from a thumb drive to my PC. I’ve gone without any freezes for days, yet still faced hours of gameplay interrupted by freezing every 20 minutes or whenever I tried to move a game from a thumb drive to my system.
I began inspecting the Event Viewer and noticed numerous WHEA error warnings.
I’ve performed stress tests without issues, tested RAM individually, tried running one RAM stick at a time, re-seated the GPU and CPU, checked all cable connections, updated drivers and BIOS. I even reset my entire PC (except the operating system) and restarted it completely. Despite these efforts, freezes persist. I’m not overclocking and the BIOS remains set to default.
Some people online reported similar problems and replaced the CPU, which resolved their issues. My CPU is still under warranty, allowing me to return it for repair (RMA). I’m uncertain if that’s the root cause before spending more on repairs.
I’m not very experienced with technology or software beyond trying things I see online. This PC is valuable to me, and I’m anxious about figuring out what’s wrong and how to fix it.

I even cleared the entire PC (except OS) to start anew.
Did you perform a full OS reset? And where did you obtain the installer from?
I didn't perform a fresh OS installation. The PC was factory reset, which clears all other data but doesn't remove the operating system. It restarts with the first sign-in attempt in Windows. I generated a bootable USB for Windows 11 to facilitate the original setup.
