I've been receiving Event ID64 lately and wasn't familiar with it until today. I decided to investigate and discovered the expired certificate comes from an xbl client using IPsec issuing a CA. It was valid between March 17, 2021 and March 18, 2021. Some people mention it relates to Xbox Live. I'm curious about what to do with the expired certificate now.

Besides criticizing the company, there aren’t many options left. It seems the system should simply display a notice about an outdated certificate and ask if you want to ignore it. The certificate only confirms the code has been reviewed. There are settings to disable this feature, but I think they’re there for a reason. Are you seeing blue screens or other issues?

no blue screens or issues at all. the system is running smoothly. the alert shows up in event viewer, but it doesn’t mean anything needs fixing. edited february 5, 2023 by rebel1

My suggestion is to keep finding it irritating.
