You just acquired the jagdpanther, but it's been a slow start. Right now, you're struggling with its 80mm frontal armor. Since you're playing on simulation, anyone have any advice? You can't hold off long-range shots because all your opponents' weapons can easily penetrate you.

Back when I played War Thunder, I was more into tanks, but now I focus on World of Tanks. If you're starting out, I'd recommend playing as a support tank and staying close to your squad.

I appreciate the comparison, but WoT offers a more dynamic experience compared to War Thunder. It definitely stands out for its gameplay style. Confirming your thoughts on the support tank aspect is great!

It seems you're discussing two types of games. The first appears to be a casual arcade title, while the second is a simulation tank game.

WoT isn’t trying to be completely realistic, though it includes some believable aspects. Warthunder tries to sound realistic but still contains a lot of nonsense (like WoT). For tips on playing Jagdpanther... avoid getting hit and fire from afar, but aim from the side—meaning not right between your enemy and your position.

It's a tank destroyer equipped with a powerful cannon, so position yourself behind your squad in a defensive stance and aim for distant tanks. Review the armor thickness in the menu and identify vulnerable areas to determine optimal placement. For this vehicle, the ideal spot is the diamond formation.
