Hi, I’m facing some issues with War Thunder and feel confused because the problem seems to appear only during gameplay. It works smoothly for a short time but then drops to 70% packet loss once combat starts. I’ve tested it on another PC at home and the same issue occurs, suggesting the network might be the cause. I’m not sure if it’s related to ports since UPNP is enabled. My current connection details show a ping and download speed that should support the game, but performance drops significantly during fights. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mopman

It might be the game itself; consider switching to another one. If you're still facing problems, it could be your internet connection.

It seems YouTube is acting strangely at the moment, but I’m sure your connection is fine.

Occasionally War Thunder displays incorrect packet loss values. If you don’t see any rubberbanding happening, it’s probably okay. This can occur during specific updates.

There is no rubber banding but there is about a 30 second delay between shooting someone and the points appearing at the bottom of the screen. And occasionally someone will crash into the ground and not explode or even appear to ha e crashed. So I suppose actually that is rubber banding.
