Hello everyone,
I recently replaced my motherboard in my computer with this model: http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H97MECSM/. (It's an H97 chipset, but overclocking remains active.) After using the setup wizard—something I didn’t fully understand—I went through the process and discovered I had overclocked my processor. I’ve tried everything to manually adjust the voltage back to the original settings, but it won’t work. The BIOS options are now grayed out. Would restoring the default BIOS settings solve the problem? The only concern is losing my fan curves, which would be easy to reset if needed. I just hope this fixes the issue.

When modifying BIOS settings, note the changes or photograph them using your phone. Afterward, activate F5 within BIOS to apply optimized defaults.
