I've noticed my GPU is being limited by my CPU. I'm considering upgrading both at once and have heard about the Ryzen 7 5800 X3D, but I'd like some advice on other choices and compatible motherboard options. Also, what kind of RAM should I pair with this setup? Thanks ahead!

P.S. The 3060 isn't staying long because I'm heading to a 3080 or higher soon.

You have options like 5600x which works fine with b450. For the future, consider purchasing a 3070 Aorus or 3080 Aorus. Also, could you share a picture of your PC? I'm an Aorus fan but haven't seen a mid-range build yet.

I'll capture a photo once I'm back. Upgrading the motherboard is also on my list due to recent Wi-Fi and rear USB issues.

Sent pm but here is another pic for anyone else. Just a minimal rgb that has a bit of a stealth look. Tinted glass helps with stealth but I have it off for pic.

The current king is 13600k13700k, then 7700x, and finally 5800x3d. Building a fresh setup wouldn’t work for this configuration.
