I’m looking for ways to boost the Ultra graphics on my GTX 770 to run smoothly at 60+ FPS. I’m not sure if it’s too old yet, but I want to know how to overclock it. Feel free to ask any questions you have and I’ll help.

it's not difficult to Overclock a GPU, but don't anticipate significant gains—it usually offers around 10-15% if you're lucky. Install MSI Afterburner, run the Heaven/Valley benchmark, and keep it running while leaving it open. Adjust the Power Limit to maximum, then gradually increase Core Clock and Memory Clock starting from 50 and 80 respectively. Monitor the benchmark for smooth performance, no stutter, crashes, or artifacts. Continue increasing by 10 for the Core clock and 20 for the memory clock, checking for any issues. If you reach your GPU's limits but maintain acceptable temperatures, you might be able to proceed further.

It's not complicated to increase the GPU's clock speed, but don't anticipate a significant performance gain—it usually ranges between 10 to 15%, depending on luck. Install MSI Afterburner, run the Heaven/Valley benchmark, and keep it running while leaving the interface open. Adjust the power limit to maximum, then gradually raise the core and memory clocks starting from 50 and 80 respectively. Observe the benchmark for smooth performance, no stutter, crashes, or artifacts. Increase by 10 for the core and 20 for memory, checking for issues each time. Continue until the GPU either crashes or artifacts appear. If you reach your GPU's limits but maintain acceptable temperatures, consider adding a small voltage boost. However, you'll need to enable this via MSI Afterburner settings and keep it below 40mV. Remember, you're unlikely to see a 20 fps improvement—usually only around 5 to 10, especially if your card is not overclocked well.
