I'd like these upgraded to get the best performance possible. Can you help me? Thank you!

Hi Jamaal
the CPU is locked, no overclock, the memory controller is likewise locked (its on the CPU). the intel CPU's that can be overclocked end with the character k. the 3770k can do what you want the 3770 cannot.
the GPU may be overclockable via the software that the card maker provides.

Hello, thank you for your message. I see that the only exception to overclocking is my GPU, which I've already optimized well. Are there any other steps I should take to maximize my performance? Appreciate your help!

do you possess an ssd? since it appears like an hdd might be the limiting factor in your setup. balance is essential. the gpu and cpu appear to be well-matched.

I don't have an SSD yet. I'm considering getting one. Do they vary based on whether they're optimal for gaming performance or are all standard? Thanks.

the sole advantage an SSD offers in gaming is quicker load speeds.
games running on it can start up up to five times faster (SATA SSD) and level loads will also be quicker, not just games—windows, software, anything stored on the SSD will experience shorter access times.
on my system, killing Floor2 takes 3.5 minutes when using a WD black 1TB, while it only takes 50 seconds on my low-end A400 SSD.
