So since last December I built a really awesome gaming PC all of my own back and it feels great to have all this power and high quality at my hands, but... I feel like I don't use it like I wanted too. I want that feeling back of where I can spend hours and hours playing a certain game and not getting bored of what it is! I just need a new game or so and then I will get that feeling back of completely wasting my time on just a single game! Any recommendations of any games? new or old to give me an idea of a long lasting but interesting game!

Yeah I do know that but I would like a heads up for any games that have been a hit with you and then I can look out for...

These games feel identical in that aspect. At first it's exciting, but after a few days it becomes more like a challenge. The enjoyment comes mainly from playing with friends, so consider joining a group or organizing a gathering with your companions.

Everyone has their own style, but with the right adjustments I can immerse myself in GTA 4 for long periods—using mods like lcpdfr and map tweaks. Skyrim is equally enjoyable, and OSU offers hours of playtime too.

http://gaben.tv I will say no more........... i will though... right here: (also I'm in the exact same situation as you... oohh the time when I could play WoW, EVE, Gmod and CSS for hours and days...) I'm personally waiting for a few games that I can use a lot of time on as well.. StarCitizen - This is one to look forward to, but still a ways out. Kingdom Come: Deliverance - REAAALLYYY looking forward to this, and to see how it turns out.. If it turns out the way I hope, this will defenitly be a game I will be able to spend HOURS, and DAYS on Project C.A.R.S. - If you like driving games, don't let this skip - I'll be looking forward to the single player of this game. Assetto Corsa - Another game if you like driving games. - This is still under development, and I'll be looking forward to the final version. Far Cry 4 - Always been a fan of Far Cry - got completely hooked with Far Cry 2, and Far Cry 3 was nice, but not one I could use a lot of time on after the story. Also, I'll be looking forward to bringing GTA V on it's knees on my Desktop... oooohh that's gonna be sweet!

Don't stress, I've added plenty of modifications to games such as GTA4, yet it still seems like I've already done this before.

It's a great point you make—friends really enhance the experience! Most of my close contacts prefer gaming on consoles, but exploring online communities could bring new excitement back. Thanks for the suggestion!

I noticed what you did at the top. But honestly, I just want that excitement of spending long hours on certain games. I’ve played games like Far Cry and they were amazing! I’m thinking about getting a G25 or G27 so Assetto Corsa feels right for me. All the other suggestions are great too—hope you check them out! Thanks for your response.
