I'm using Windows 10 on my Samsung SSD 850 Evo and planning to upgrade to the Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2. I'm looking for the best method to do this.

I've heard a bit about it, but I haven't tried it yet and don't know much about moving boot drives with it.

It's usually suggested to reinstall Windows on a fresh drive, though it might succeed. If you need a clean setup, download Windows 10 for PC from the USB and boot it from there. You'll find helpful instructions online.
