This set presents the third batch of GRID World Series contests, leaving just one race for the season—the concluding one in my career. It encompasses Prototype, F1000, and Classic GT categories, all structured as three-race events. I adjusted steering and linearity settings to 100/10 across all three contests.
The initial contest is GRID World Series GT, where I selected the Acura DPi. The locations varied: Shanghai's Waibaidu Way at night, Crescent Valley's Infield Circuit during daylight amid rain, and Havana's Paseo de Marti during the day. The standout moment was the race at Crescent Valley, which proved particularly demanding due to the challenging conditions.
Spoiler
The Shanghai event wasn’t overly difficult, but I only secured a second-place finish at Crescent Valley and a fourth-place result in Havana. At Havana, I took the lead early on the first turn, but precise timing and positioning were crucial at Crescent Valley. The final lap saw some close contact after being overtaken, as the AI that passed me drifted outward before attempting a sharp cut.
The second contest is GRID World Series FA Racing in the Jedi F1000-Spec. Venues included Zhejiang's East Track at dusk, Havana's El Malecon at sunset, and Brands Hatch's Indy Circuit Reversed during daylight in rain. The most memorable race was at Havana, known for its demanding layout and tight corners.
Spoiler
Adapting to the challenging tracks at Zhejiang and Brands Hatch was initially tough, but I soon found my rhythm. The race at Havana proved particularly rewarding, offering a solid lead throughout the course.
The third event is GRID World Series Invitational, a Classic GT invitational offering four car choices. I opted for the Alpine A110 1800 Group 4, favoring its performance in the first race. The venues were Zhejiang's Full Circuit Reversed at sunset in rain, Havana's Parque Sprint during daylight, and Okutama's Grand Circuit at sunset. The most challenging race was at Okutama.
Spoiler
The rainy conditions on Zhejiang initially seemed daunting, even for the Alpine A110. After gaining confidence in braking and line selection, I secured a pole position start. Havana proved manageable, with a comfortable first-half lead. However, the tight back sections in the latter half kept the AI relentless, making it hard to close the gap consistently. Ultimately, a third-place finish secured victory.
And finally, the occasion that concludes Career mode in this game. This is merely a brief 1-race, 2-lap challenge at San Francisco's Grand Prix Circuit during nighttime in the Prototype class. The event is named GRID World Series Showdown Ravenwest, with just four participants—your team versus Ravenwest—and all vehicles are Cadillac DPi-V.R. If I had to characterize this car, it resembles something Darth Vader would drive if he were interested in piloting a land vehicle; it appears both imposing and intimidating.
