Waiting for GTA 6
Waiting for GTA 6
I had been looking forward to some specific release details, but now I’m rushing. Since there’s no estimated timeframe yet, and even Rockstar and Take Two aren’t certain when this title will launch.
My prediction is it won’t be before 2025, though it’s still uncertain with full confidence. The project has been stuck in development for over two years, and several factors—such as the size of the project, fan excitement, and rising game development costs—are contributing to the extended timeline for GTA 6.
Old rumors suggested a 2024 release, but that seems improbable. The reality is that the success of previous titles and the ambitious scope of Red Dead Redemption 2 have led Rockstar to proceed slowly. The studio confirmed when it began work on GTA 6.
I wasn't really impressed even with GTA V, mainly because of the frequent fights between Michael and Trevor. The game felt too lighthearted for my preferences, and I’m not sure why it received such praise for its writing. Keep in mind that Rockstar recently lost their main GTA writer Dan Houser, which might influence the story quality in GTV 6. It’s difficult to predict what GTA 6 will be like, but based on the limited information so far, I’m not impressed.
If this upcoming GTA game ever reaches the PC, it would definitely signal a major shift. Gamers worldwide would have a real incentive to upgrade their systems. In others' opinions, it might become the most intense experience if it turns out to be a highly immersive game with strong online features. Kids of all ages might choose to abandon work or school just to play and achieve impressive achievements.
I also think a future RDR title could be very popular too.
