Is it not included in your extensions? If not, save your favorites. Uninstall Chrome. Restart and reinstall to recover your saved items.

Are there any entries in the Control Panel or Programs section? There is a lot of information related to that application and possibly other issues. Can you remember which program was installed that caused this?

nothing out of the ordinary in programs. Dont recall what was installed that could of installed w3 with it.

Did you remove all your extensions when you uninstalled Chrome earlier? Are your Chrome accounts connected across different devices?
