I own an ideapad y700 with a 6700 hq processor, a gtx 960 m 4GB, and 16 GB of RAM. I recently installed W2K17 with all configurations set to their minimum. Despite running the dedicated GPU and using the maximum performance power plan, I only achieved 45–48 fps. I checked that the battery-saving option was disabled in NVIDA GeForce Manager, but noticed many users with similar specs reported much higher frame rates at higher settings. Could there be an issue with a setting I missed?

They're running hot, you might be slowing things down. There could be malware or a virus causing this, so run a scan. Hope it works out.

Have you... Verified drivers to determine if GPU limits are the issue rather than CPU performance? Assess whether your PC experiences significant thermal throttling. Investigate the APIs currently in use (you might not know, but newer ones could offer better efficiency).

I perform regular checks with Avira and Malawarabytes, and the CPU temperatures are stable. To track the GPU while playing, consider using a dedicated GPU monitoring tool or software.

They’re all up to date, but I’m confused—what exactly do you need?
