You can try downgrading to Windows 7 or 8 if needed. After resetting your PC on Windows 10, the sound might be missing because the audio settings were altered. To get back your sound, you can reinstall the audio drivers or check the system settings for proper configuration. If you need help with W7 or W8 keys, let me know and I can guide you through the process.

Without an image, the situation is tough. Typically a 30-day backup exists after upgrading Windows 7, but once it expires or your PC is reset, you can't recover. Check your motherboard model, get the sound drivers, and install them in compatibility mode if needed.

You can obtain a W7 license directly from the Microsoft website and then download it. If there are issues with your sound, check the installation or compatibility settings.

You can try it, though it requires payment. If your device already runs Windows, simply press the key printed on the sticker attached to your unit.

It's totally fine to restore your original Windows version of 7 or 8.
