VRM coil whine?
VRM coil whine?
I've noticed persistent crackling, hissing, and coil whine around the VRMs on my board. I'm curious if this is typical or something to worry about. My motherboard is the FX550UI, which tends to produce that noise even when the CPU isn't heavily loaded. The GPU VRMs are quieter and smaller, so it seems normal for them. Thanks!
The output values seem to be lower when operating at reduced demands if I estimate
