Holopoint and Raw Data are quite entertaining. My friend and I purchased the Vive together and this is essentially our main activity lol. We’ve spent a lot of time playing VR the Diner Duo, it’s really fast-paced (sometimes) and super funny and enjoyable—it’s my top pick on the Vive. (Reminder: VR the Diner Duo is mostly a two-player game, but you can play solo and it’s still great. It doesn’t require two headsets, one on your PC and one in the headset.)

It seems you're talking about a few different types of games. One involves tower defense with a bow and arrow, another is about building structures from floating parts, and you mention some games aren't worth the investment. There aren't many solid options out there.
