Oculus partnered with Dragon Force. The gameplay is decent, though it feels disconnected from real interaction. Playing Guitar Hero was more about social experience, while this one isolates you from others. Palmer’s design seems like a simple tool in the video.

Absolutely, that's what I'm thinking. Are you still checking if those Oculus titles run on the HTC Vive?

Oculus might support some of these titles to boost VR adoption, meaning they could be exclusive to the Rift or released at launch. It’s likely simpler to build for one platform, though it’s uncertain if Facebook would block developers from using Vive later.

still waiting for RockBand to come to PC so I can have fun without a console. i would play with RockSmith if my guitar did not require over $300 of repair work.

The VR sector is likely to fail due to fragmentation. A common standard is essential for all devices. Think about how mice and keyboards don’t work well together—similarly, VR needs uniformity.

it's basically similar to android/apple apps for phones i don't condone it, but why should the pay for the development of their sponsored content for another party still though, there is no evidence that it will never come to the vive

They understand that running games on Windows isn't the same as building apps for various platforms. They realize that too much fragmentation could hinder VR's success and cause repeated failures.
