You're looking to connect a Raspberry Pi with Private Internet Access as your VPN provider, but Netflix is blocking their IP addresses. There are a few possible approaches you could try: one option might involve configuring your VPN settings so that Netflix sees the correct location, or using a different method to bypass the block. It's important to check if it's safe to modify your connection in this way, as changing VPN settings can affect other services and security. If you're comfortable with the risks, experimenting in a controlled environment is possible.

The easiest option is to turn off the VPN when you need to stream Netflix, though you might be worried about its safety. For stronger protection, switching to another VPN such as ExpressVPN could work better for Netflix.

When using native apps on smart devices like smart TVs, Netflix may detect VPN usage. Standalone applications on PCs or phones face fewer restrictions. The issue stems from how these apps are built for different platforms. I’ve consistently used ExpressVPN without problems. Within the app, you can specify traffic routing options (such as "all except..." or "none except..."). More complex configuration would be needed on a RPi.
