You’re trying to access your school’s restricted WiFi using a VPN that you’ve already tested on your personal device. You’ve checked several options and found that while some servers are blocked, others still function on your home network. Now you’re facing the same issue at school, which is frustrating. You’re looking for a reliable solution that works within the school’s environment without compromising your paid VPN service.

Notice, there’s a rule that prevents using services which bypass a school’s security protocols. Schools are especially upset when they discover this. Because I oversee many school networks, I can quickly spot when someone is using a VPN.

Not very confident about its legality in Canada, but likely restricted in the US as well. Useful to know.

US firms Tunnelbear and Hotspot Shield operate within the United States and must adhere to American regulations. Using their services in a manner that violates these rules is prohibited.

Well, FrootVPN comes from Sweden... It seems safe to say I’m not violating any rules given how open Sweden is about internet regulations.
