Hello, I’m exploring options to set up a VPN connection using a single router instead of multiple devices. You’re considering swapping your current Linksys E4200 for a dual-band model that supports both regular Wi-Fi and a VPN channel, but I haven’t found any available in the market. At a local store, I noticed no staff mentioned VPN functionality or compatibility with OpenVPN/IKEv2/IPsec. Flashing your router with AdvancedTomato didn’t yield results, and the project seems discontinued. Could you suggest a simpler way to achieve dual Wi-Fi with VPN support? Thank you!

Use the Ubiquity Edge Router to obtain Unified Access Points. These APs support several SSIDs, each linked to different VLANs for both VPN and non-VPN configurations.

That sounds great! I hadn't heard of Ubiquity products before, so I'm excited to check them out.
