I have Windows 8.1 on my laptop and when I increase the volume above 40%, a warning appears about potential ear damage. I accidentally pressed the volume limit button, and now I'm unsure how to adjust it again. The issue seems to occur only when I connect something to the headphone jack. Anyone have advice? Edit: It's a Samsung laptop and it happens only when I plug something in.

This question could be useful for you. It references a specific forum post about disabling the unsafe volume warning on Windows 8 or 8.1 systems. The default settings often show around 60%, but the suggested method might resolve the issue. Good luck!
