I’m working with an optical output setup, specifically a Fiiok11. There seems to be occasional audio drops—clicks every 1-2 minutes—when playing games. I’ve confirmed the disc isn’t being damaged and the amplifier only has one USB-C port, which makes me hesitant about constantly disconnecting it. Could this be related to a driver problem? I’ve tried using USB C and everything works fine.
Navigate to sound settings, then commutations. Select "do nothing," apply changes, and confirm with ok.
Hmm, I'm not sure. It could be a damaged optical cable. I don't know how fragile these things are.
It functions properly. My argument is that optical isn't just a thing.
Optical delivers 24-bit audio while USB provides 32-bit. Using USB will reduce noise.
