I'm just wondering about the typical voltages people use. The Ryzen 3600 in an ASUS ROG VI Hero X370 runs at 1.4v to 1.5v idle and 1.4v to 1.6v under load. On Windows 10, it's around 900mV to 1.2v with similar loads. My 3600 can hit 4.2 at 1.32v, which matches the max rated by AMD for load. My wife's PC also uses a 3600 and has been overclocked to 4.2 at 1.32v. It seems basic usage shows much lower voltages in Linux compared to Windows, which is a bit worrying, especially with Windows generally being less stable.

I don't have a specific tool, but common devices for measuring voltages include multimeters and oscilloscopes.

HWinfo64 works on Windows and ASUS WMI through sensor data in Linux. It accesses information from the ASUS WMI Interface.
