Voltage instability in this processor model
Hey there! I just updated my Windows and have been checking the hwmonitor lately. My Ryzen 5 5600X shows voltage fluctuations between 0.96V and 1.3V when idle, which is typical. At higher power settings like Performance mode, the PBO from the CPU is already active by default. Thanks for sharing—I appreciate it!
HWMonitor tends to have some problems with Ryzen processors, which is part of the problem. Consider using HWiNFO64 or Ryzen Master instead. Voltage fluctuations during idle are normal, typically ranging from 0.95V to 1.45V, which aligns with expectations.
XMP isn't related to the VCore setting; it only influences the RAM's operating voltage. The numbers you see are typical and not cause for concern.
