Hello, I saw similar fluctuations in CPU core voltage during my use of AIDA64 Extreme. The readings ranged from 1.0V to as low as 0.250V, changing significantly in both directions. This level of variation is quite unusual, especially with a Ryzen 5 3600. Could you provide more details or check if there are any known issues with this setup?

Not sure where you're getting the numbers, but software reporting is often inaccurate. However, unless you feel like the performance is compromised, it's nothing to worry about in any case. Running low voltage with the same performance is the dream. The problem is normally not being able to safely push enough voltage into it to scale the performance higher.

Not sure where you're getting the numbers, but software reporting is often inaccurate. However, unless you feel like the performance is compromised, it's nothing to worry about in any case. Running low voltage with the same performance is the dream. The problem is normally not being able to safely push enough voltage into it to scale the performance higher.

The numbers 0.400 or 0.330V seem a bit low, though they do vary. It happens occasionally, but it doesn't happen often. I'm using AIDA64 Extreme for this.

Again, it can't technically be too low. The question is: is it impacting your performance? If not, then don't worry about it.

Dude, I’ve said this a hundred times before. There’s no such thing as being “too low.” The industry’s aim is always to squeeze out the best performance from the cheapest voltage. Voltage isn’t something you can ignore—it just needs to be there. What really counts is your performance. If it’s good, you’re good.

They’re not the only ones doing this, but they seem to be among the worst at it. Still, they do understand the facts—they just fail to share them clearly. It’s frustrating because they explain things well when they choose to, yet most customers never even see this content. It feels like a poor business practice to hide such important details in random Reddit posts.

It's typical to refer to these as P-states, which stand for Power States, usually when the system is idle or using light loads. The v-core can drop to as low as 0.20v, and certain threads may be paused or restricted. The data you see visually was recorded about 1000 milliseconds prior. These values aren't live measurements.
