I'm trying to push my 6700k beyond 4.5ghz, but for a steady 4.6 I have to adjust the vcore to 1.4 because of the big voltage loss. In Cinebench R15 the vcore begins at 1.392 in cpu-z and falls to roughly 1.35, while Aida64 shows about 1.36. Any advice would be welcome.

That's referred to as VDroop. There should be a configuration in your motherboard's BIOS to adjust for it. The specific setting varies based on the motherboard, so check around for the appropriate option. This should assist you.

Thank you for the response, but it seems your mobile MSCI Z170A Pro doesn't have that option. I'll just go with 4.5.
