so i'm still getting familiar with overclocking, i recently adjusted the GPU laptop's settings and found that overclocking isn't ideal. i increased the core clock to +135 MHz and the memory clock to +250 MHz, then set the memory clock to +260 MHz. after that, i lowered it to +250 MHz for about 10 minutes, and the game ran smoothly without a white screen. once i played for an hour, there was no issue. during overclocking, the voltage measured at 987 mV when playing, which is lower than before. before overclocking, it was 1093 mV. the voltage stayed within normal ranges, with a peak of 1187 mV and a low of 893 mV when idle. i checked using nvidiaInspector and GPU-Z, and the temperature never exceeded 70°C during playback. the gpu model is GT740M 64 Bit.

the question is: is this typical after overclocking when voltage drops to 987 mV? are there any aspects i should keep an eye on? is the voltage at 987 mV safe? maybe only these points matter right now. thank you.

It's quite typical given your mobile GPU setup. This likely happens because the GPU is reducing its performance by decreasing the voltage.

Throttling occurs due to high GPU usage, such as 99%.

It's typical. A graphics processor and central processor function similarly, and voltage reduction relates to vdroop. At idle, voltages peak, which is the standard condition for the processor. When under load, vdroop kicks in, reducing voltage to prevent it from surpassing the normal level due to fluctuations like start/stop changes. LLC contributes by adjusting these voltage variations to keep them stable within the standard range.
