After resetting CMOS and lowering it to 1.2V, temperatures remained high. Changing BIOS settings back to defaults caused a black screen but later stabilized at 1.28V. To reduce heat, consider verifying BIOS settings for optimal values or checking for firmware updates that might improve thermal management.

Have you removed dust from your computer lately? Also, check that your CPU cooler is properly connected to the CPU.
