You're facing an issue where VirtualBox is attempting hardware virtualization without it being enabled, preventing you from saving custom settings. This can happen if the VM isn't properly configured or if the system settings aren't correctly applied. Check your VM settings and ensure the appropriate drivers are installed. If needed, try restarting the VM or reinstalling VirtualBox to resolve conflicts.

Yes, you can turn on hardware virtualization. Running VMs without it isn't recommended. Please let me know your system's specifications.

The only available setting is to turn on PAE/NX and Nested VT-x/AMD-V.

That's concluded, but it seems the system is already disabled. Considering Arch is 64-bit, hardware virtualization must be turned on. Check your BIOS settings and enable it (if supported by your CPU). If not, you may need to switch to a different distribution. There exists an unofficial 32-bit version of Arch available.

VirtualBox only offered the 32-bit edition despite my 64-bit processor and operating system. Additionally, the IDRK feature for hardware virtualization appears to be set up in my BIOS—possibly in the MSI Touch BIOS?

It should display "svm mode" or "amd-v" in the BIOS settings.
