I frequently pair cccp with wmphc. However, I’m using VLC for streaming and backup (though backup isn’t necessary).

I believe I could try using MPC HC again, though setting it up to behave like VLC would be quite complex.

The issue was maintaining the same window size across different files or scales, and it failed to recall the last folder location.

I previously used VLC for a while, but encountered audio issues with some of my Blu-Ray rips (all legitimate). Around 99% played perfectly, though a few didn’t sound even with identical settings. It seems certain videos use AAC formats that VLC struggles with. I moved to Jetaudio with the K-lite codec pack and have been satisfied ever since. The free version’s popup ads are bothersome, but it functions flawlessly and meets all my needs.
