I had no experience with a pet cat before... it's odd how they move the mouse, as if it were the mouse itself.
I got it what you were saying. But they usually just step on the desk without even realizing there are screens and keys around.
In the future, I could possibly have a puppy or kitten, but it seems more likely it will be a kitten. The challenge is accepted.
