Greetings, I'm a novice to this platform and encountering issues with visual distortions – specifically, stretching and shimmering – within certain games. I've located a YouTube video demonstrating comparable errors in *Rise of the Tomb Raider* that will illustrate the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4jSc7fxFmY&t=10s. My system includes a Windows 10 operating system, an AMD Radeon 560x graphics card installed two years ago, and an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor with six cores. I’ve verified my system temperatures are stable and completed a diagnostic test on the graphics card, which indicated no errors. Could you offer any suggestions?

It’s recommended to perform a fresh installation of your graphics card drivers using the DDU tool in safe mode. If necessary, completely reinstall the game from its original files as well. These visual anomalies resemble artifacts, but it’s possible that your GPU has been overclocked.

A damaged game installation, corrupted drivers, or a defective GPU memory could potentially be responsible for the observed flickering and glitches. If you are using Steam, you can also attempt to “verify the integrity of game files” to ensure they are not corrupted.

Despite attempting all of your recommendations, the errors persist. Could my graphics card be failing, and if so, how can I determine this?
