The recent purchase of a computer resulted in significant screen tearing when utilizing the FreeSync technology. Despite limiting frame rates to match the display's refresh rate, noticeable distortion persisted along the lower portion of the screen. This problem occurred with both settings configured through the monitor’s on-screen display and within the Radeon Software. I am experiencing this issue with an RX 5700 8G GPU and a LG29WK600 FreeSync HDR 75Hz monitor, and require assistance in resolving it.

Installing MSI Afterburner also includes RivaTuner Statistics Server, which allows utilizing Scanline Sync to position scanlines beneath the display’s edge.

The approach proved to be slow, apparently.

Try capping the FPS at 72/73 instead of 75.

The resolution has been identified. Limiting frames per second to 60 appears to eliminate any visual artifacts. It seems my monitor is running a factory overclock to 75Hz, which was causing the screen tearing. Thank you for your responses.
