I received the latest monitors and every time I power on my PC from a cold start, a graphical issue appears during boot until it reaches the Windows login screen. To enter BIOS I must fully load into Windows and then press restart to avoid the glitch. I've attempted just pressing DEL to boot into BIOS from a cold start, but the problem persists unless I reboot to fix it.

System details: Intel Core i9 11900k (overclocked to 5.0GHz though stock settings still cause issues)
4x 8GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz (XMP Profile 2)
Asus ROG Strix RTX 3070 TI (stock settings)
Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming Motherboard (v2403 latest)
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6, 80 Plus Gold 1000W
Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVMe Boot Drive
Windows 11 Pro x64 2x ASUS VG278Q 27" Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz

The issue on your 12-year-old monitor is noticeable now, though the screens from 2021 are still functional. Are both monitors experiencing this problem? Have you changed the cables?

Both screens connect via DisplayPort at the moment. I haven’t tested HDMI yet, but I plan to try it then.

It appears to occur only with monitors connected through a display port. HDMI didn’t recreate the problem, but I’d still appreciate confirmation on whether it can be resolved.

I tried fixing it since I’m experiencing the same issue. It’s a brand new PC and monitor. The first one got cold boot after shutdown, while the second worked fine after restart. Also, the monitor is connected via display port. Any idea what might be causing this?

Consider accessing the BIOS to modify your PCIe configuration from automatic to Gen 3. Additionally, you might want to disable G-Sync or adjust the DP stream settings from version 1.4 to 1.2.
