I managed it, but the issue persists. On Bing, sometimes it shows a message saying the page can't be displayed. When I try to fix connection problems, it says certain network protocols are missing, which prevents the repair from working.

Have you restarted the system? The virus may have caused lasting issues. Try launching an admin command prompt and entering sfc /scannow to check for problems.

I restarted and ran the scan. No problems detected, though Bing keeps sending me to another site. I’m probably just going to reinstall the operating system. Thanks for your assistance! Wishing you a joyful new year!

I experienced the same issue previously... you handled most of it, but did you attempt steps 6 to 8 as suggested? It resolved my concern.
