I'm facing issues with the webcam not connecting on my virtual Ubuntu 16 LTS setup. It keeps showing an error about the device being busy. Have you checked the USB connection or tried a different port?

Typically this indicates the host system (your actual machine) is still utilizing the device or the USB filter isn't set up correctly. It could also mean another program is blocking VirtualBox from capturing the USB port (like USBPcap or similar). Try the following: connect your USB device to the computer, turn off the VM, go to the VM's settings, locate the USB section, add a filter for your device [refer to attachment], disconnect the USB and then restart the VM.
