If you set your virtual RAM to 40GB, it won’t directly allow your full 4GB physical RAM to be used. The system will only utilize the allocated virtual memory space.

Virtual memory helps keep data that isn’t currently being used but still needed in RAM. Because Windows requires many processes to stay running, you can’t have all your tasks on just 4GB of physical memory. The solution is adding more real RAM. What’s the reason you’re relying so heavily on virtual memory?

In fact, I enjoy playing Minecraft. My PC has 4GB of RAM, but the game needs that amount to run smoothly without lag. I was thinking about boosting my virtual memory so the system stays responsive and I can fully utilize the 4GB available in the game.
