Absolutely, it’s quite disappointing. It seems like they overlooked key features, possibly targeting the average user instead.

I also disliked that, discovered you need to press CTRL plus mouse wheel to zoom. Now I'm facing the same issue, I don't like this photo app at all, but it gives me a good challenge. The only thing left is the frustration when the Photo app suddenly opens the collection library windows... which means two windows appear at once.
