I recently sold a collection of 12 Hikvision PoE cameras, an NVR, and some mounts for around £400 on eBay. Start by checking the used market. My business currently relies on Dahua, which performs well, though their DMSS app for mobile devices feels subpar. For home use, I own a set of Eufy cameras that are excellent for monitoring pets and pet sitters while we're away.

I checked Ebay and most items came from the states, which means high shipping costs. We’re using Eufy now, but it’s getting frustrating because of the charges and the lack of 24/7 support. The police recently visited to see if we had any video of someone breaking a window at night—we didn’t, since they only record when motion is detected. It would be helpful to have 24/7 coverage, especially for higher locations where they miss some activity. I looked into Reolink products and wondering if they’re worth considering.

I own several Reolink RLC-511s, they perform well during the day. At night, movement appears as blurry spots. The mobile app functions adequately.
