I recently replaced my H100i with a new Arctic Liquid Freezer and an EPS 4+4 unit. Everything seemed to work fine until I encountered booting difficulties. When I power it on, the video output appears, the monitor turns on, but nothing displays. Leaving it idle for hours eventually triggers sleep mode without any other changes. The system functions mostly normally except for a POST issue—keyboard numlock stays off, the motherboard’s BOOT LED stays green, and the GPU fans don’t spin long enough to notice. It starts at zero RPM, but LEDs on the GPU illuminate. Peripheral devices appear operational, though the cooler is removed and the extra EPS pin is missing. I’ve tested swapping RAM positions, unplugging the new cable, and re-seating the GPU, but nothing resolved the problem. It seems like bent pins might be the cause. Used about 91% isopropyl alcohol, allowed it to dry for roughly half an hour before plugging it back in and restarting. The CPU remained in its socket during cleaning. I’m unsure what exactly is wrong—my system specs are documented, but I’m still trying to figure it out.

Experienced with a comparable issue today on a B450 tomahawk. The Mobos LEDs indicated a VGA graphics card fault. It turned out an old SATA drive failed; removing it restored the problem. Regarding storage devices, do you have any hard drives or SSDs that aren't the boot drive? Even the boot drive might be the culprit. Just guessing here, though. Confirm if the EPS 4+4 cable matches your power supply requirements? Most modular cables aren’t interchangeable across brands, and swapping them can damage connected components (they often reverse ground and voltage pins just to be more durable).
