So yeah, filled up to the brim yesterday and now just under 24 hours later its lost about a quarter of the reservoir. I've been keeping a close eye on it, no leaks anywhere from what I can see. Any ideas for what I can try? Maybe I'll filling up all the way again and make an update in another 24 hours? Edit: I'll re-emphasize this. This is my first liquid build. IDK what im doing. xD It looks aweful
If there is no leak, I think it is just air which was in the radiator. You can try to get rid of it by moving your PC a little bit. As long as no liquid runs out, you should be ok
It seems the system lost all its airflow yesterday, which likely caused the issue. I disabled the machine and attached a sticky note to record the current level. After turning it back on, I slowly rotated it 90 degrees forward and then 90 degrees backward before powering it off. When I checked again, it didn’t move at all, indicating the air was fully removed. I plan to test it tomorrow and share my results.
It's typical once you first fill your loop. That initial air needs time to settle in the spaces and return to your storage.
Also remember, avoid filling the tank too high. Maintain some space for expansion to prevent damage from temperature changes.
I just arrived at my shop and the level remains unchanged! Probably just a bit of air, haha! Thanks everyone!
