It began during a GTA V session when I froze unexpectedly, with the screen refreshing rapidly—possibly every few seconds at just 0.1 fps or less. I was engaged in a crucial task, so I switched to sound mode and pressed the Windows key to restore the game. Adjusting resolution settings and enabling fullscreen with auto-pixel scaling (1440p) worked until I changed the display mode back to Windows borderless, which triggered another freeze. I took a break for an hour, then restarted the PC and resumed playing Minecraft. The same issue persisted, freezing at 0.1 fps despite previously achieving smooth performance (60-80 fps). I’m unsure what to do, as my computer is only six months old and has an RTX 3060 MSI 12GB graphics card.

It seems there might be some issues with the system. I’d consider reinstalling the drivers, using DDU to remove old files, and running sfc /scannow to repair corrupted files. If that doesn’t help, downloading the Windows ISO from Microsoft and extracting it could work. Running the setup will reinstall Windows without deleting anything, just choose to keep files and it usually fixes most problems.

Sure, I can help with that.
The ISO process involves creating a bootable USB drive with the operating system you want to install. You’ll typically use tools like Rufus or Windows’ built-in utility to format the drive and copy the ISO image. Make sure your computer is connected to a power source during this step.

You just saved it from Microsoft's site with 7-Zip or WinRAR installed. Place the files in a folder and run setup.exe for Windows. The rest should work smoothly.

and a huge chance it doesnt work. Also, work on narrowing things down with OP, dont shotgun solutions. Heavy hitches can be a driver issue so go off that first but realistically if it is windows it wouldve been worse.

It really functions now. It has resolved numerous issues for me. I'm giving him clear instructions on how to fix it—no random guessing involved.
